The Rain and Shine earrings were handcrafted from 925 sterling silver using the traditional Tufa casting technique. The inspiration for these earrings came while driving the back roads of the beautiful state of Wyoming. Traveling from Cokeville to Mountain View, a storm was rolling in. For a brief moment, just before the rain began to pour, the sky was caught between dark, brooding clouds and brilliant sunlight. The contrast of the polished sterling and the rough surface mirrors that fleeting moment. Additionally, if you've ever driven through those magnificent parts of Wyoming, you’ve likely noticed the small hills where layers of rock clearly reveal different stages of earth formation—one of those layers, a distinct blue, is reflected in the turquoise of these earrings, representing the striking beauty of the land.
